Lovers of Modern masters have a new exhibition to flock to, and it’s at the Boston MFA. This summer the museum hosts an impressive and inspiring array of Modernist works from the MFA’s collection, new acquisitions, and rare museum loans. Set in 5 different galleries in the Americas Wing and 28 artists, “each gallery represents a moment—from Mexico City to New York to Boston—illustrating the evolution of Modern art in North America”.
The exhibition hosts what I like to call the ‘greatest hits’ of the Modern movement: Kahlo, Pollock, Rivera, Picasso, O’Keeffe, Kline, Motherwell, and over a dozen more. This exhibit is ongoing but why wait?
