This week Junkyard Arts will be featuring stories from Fashion Week as they relate to the arts. As Tim Gunn mentioned in a recent Project Runway, Fashion is not Clothes. It is a statement, it is design, it is a plan. It demonstrates craftsmanship, vision and creativity that I dare say commands attention the same way a painting commands attention on a crisp, white wall of a gallery. Fashion is a celebration of innovation and creativity that not only speaks for itself, but lets the wearer speak of themselves through it. When done well, fashion is most definitely an art form.
A Favorite: Marchesa!
HOLY SHIT.
That’s all I got. This collection is a wet dream for art lovers, architects and fashionistas alike.
